Matthew "Matt" Smith (born: June 7, 1999), [citation needed]better known online as Dang Matt Smith, DangMattSmith, or dangmattsmith, is an American reaction YouTuber who lives in Los Angeles, California, United States.
History[]
Smith was born in Oxnard, California, the son of Thomas Jefferson Smith Sr. and Cheryl (nee Taylor) Smith. He started by first making vlogging videos in December 6th 2011 that did not get a lot of views, but when he started making Omegle videos, his YouTube account became a lot bigger. He stopped posting original content to Vine in November of 2015 and had earned about 60,000 followers by that time. He has also made quite a few videos on TikTok, a few actually appearing in his videos. For example- If You LAUGH You LOSE Part 2 (HARDEST TikTok Edition).
He is also very supportive of other YouTubers, and often collaborates with some of them. He later started doing reaction videos on his channel, and those videos became what his channel was based on. He has now switched his channel's focus to skits. In January 2021, Smith returned to his reaction videos per fans request and he decided to mix reaction and skits. As of April 2021, Smith stopped posting skits to his DangMattSmith channel. In January 2022, Smith returned to uploading daily on his YouTube Channel, He mixing in skits, random content and some of his fan favorite series from his channel daily in August 2nd 2023 Matt and Sarah Broke Up Due To Sarah Moving on with her Personal Life
