Although it is small, it has everything you would need in a hotel room. The check in process is very quick and efficient (only needed to input code at the front door sent before check-in time), the room was already cleaned and prepared well, and overall environment is very safe and quiet. Highly recommend!

Kasa was the ideal experience for business travel. It's a tiny room, but it is flawlessly clean and everything works and there's no fuss. The nearby Courtyard Marriott wanted 5x the price and they actually don't do housekeeping either (they just lie and say you can request it but they still don't do it).

I am a hotel snob and this hotel experience was wonderful! It was easy to get in to the building and into the room. The reception area was clean and beautiful and had nice amenities. The room itself was modern, clean and cozy. There was convenient parking in front to drop off people or luggage. The location was in the middle of Redwood City’s entertainment center, which was walkable and safe. The recommended parking was full because it was a Friday night, but there was another parking lot nearby that was inexpensive. I have stayed at name brand hotels with far more expensive parking and rooms and this is better than them. I would stay at this brand of hotels again if they were in the area I was traveling to.

In town for one night to see a show. The room was small but with a very Zen interior. The room had cool backlit lighting options throughout, had an efficient fridge/ice/K-cups for hot beverages setup, and the room was quiet even with A/C on. Best part of our stay was the bed (king size) which was fit out in pristine white linens, just-squishy-enough pillows, and a mattress so heavenly comfortable that we did not want to check out the next morning!

I enjoyed my stay! Solo traveler. Not super familiar with the area. Convenient to public transit, nightlife looked great. I grabbed takeout and stayed in the room for the evening, noise level was moderate, I had no problem sleeping on the first floor in a well enjoyed restaurant district. Plenty of food and grocery options close by. I will stay at the hotel again!

This hotel was perfect for me. The room was compact (I chose the smallest room and knew it would be like that) , but despite its size it was well laid out, well lit, and comfortable. I had no problems with the virtual check-in process—to me it makes sense. If you’re a person who needs to interact with another human at a hotel, this is probably not the property for you. Personally, I’d be happy if I never had to talk to people, so it was great for me. 😁 Oh, also as a solo female traveler I felt totally safe here (both in the hotel and in the neighborhood), even walking around fairly late at night.

Room Tip: Try the kebab place nearby (RocknWraps, I think)—it is excellent.

Excellent location! I walked around the area for 2 days and had plenty to see, eat, and explore. I saw a few homeless folks. Both were friendly and were not intrusive. This is a clean and safe area. I would recommend bringing a water bottle if you like tap water and bring extra bottles of water or get some around the corner at the Grocery Outlet (LOVed), as the room only comes with 2 and there aren't any in the lobby. The lobby and the room have coffee, tea, and cocoa. That being said, I am 100% certain the staff would have provided some extra water bottles if I had asked. They are resposive, professional, and really kind. This hotel is spotless! I stayed on the 2nd floor so noise from above was no issue. I didn't notice excessive road noise from Friday to Monday. They do provide earplugs and blackout masks. The printer in the lobby is Bluetooth and worked great! Fair price, friendly staff, extremely clean, beautiful little neighborhood! I highly recommend and would definitely book again! If you are not technically savvy, maybe skip this as it does require you to be independent when checking in and out and entering the building and your room...and operating the TV. Hint-if you have Samsung or non I phone like me, use the "SmartView" option on your phone and choose the "Screenshare" option on the Samsung TV. That is different than the way the instructions in the room instruct you but is a cinch!

This little hotel was so perfect for our quick little romantic getaway. We had one of the smallest rooms & my husband & I loved it so much. We filled the little fridge with fruit champagne. The bed was so comfy. We absolutely loved all of the little details. A sound machine, eye masks, ear plugs. There were thoughtful gestures and you could really feel there was mindfulness and love put into this property. We will be back!!!

I stayed here right when the hotel had reopened. Everything was new and nicely designed, but there were some issues as well. Some examples: The King room did not have a desk and chair as advertised so there was nowhere to sit or work except the bed. There were some issues with the code for entering my room, but they were resolved after a few attempts with assistance by phone. The tv wouldn’t work and I was told someone would come and fix it but no one showed up all day, and only later did I learn you had to connect the tv to your phone somehow - the room had no instructions or guidance about that. Some of the rooms are quite small like a dorm room.
On the plus side the design of the place is nice and the location in town is great. The coffee in the room is good and the bathroom was a good size.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are small but so well designed that there was space for everything and the room had everything I needed. Great service, modern, and spotlessly clean. Excellent value for money.
