Roswell Police Seeking Information On Drug Related Fatal Shooting

ROSWELL, GA — One man has died and another was charged with murder after a shooting at a Roswell restaurant on Friday night, police said.

At 10:50 p.m. on Friday, Roswell Police responded to Hooligans Tavern, 8440 Holcomb Bridge Road, regarding a shooting. The 911 caller said a man shot another male inside the restaurant. A description of the shooter was given by witnesses.

The man who was shot was found by medical personnel with multiple gunshot wounds, and was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. Hassan Golden, 37, of Norcross, died at the hospital.

Roswell Police, with the assistance of Johns Creek Police, found the suspected shooter nearby after he fled the business.

James Densmore, 30, of Kennesaw, was arrested and charged with murder.

Police said the shooting was not random, and was drug related.
