- SSchallertvipDenver / Colorado •17 reviews4.0Dined on May 11, 2024Food was pretty good; we had much better food during our 8-day East Coast trip than at this restaurant. My date's lobster came out cold and it was supposed to be hot. My lobster roll was very good (not great - we have a restaurant in Colorado that flies in their Maine lobster daily and it was comparably priced but more substantial and better tasting in Colorado). The other primary deficiency was the young waitress we had who just wasn't present and mentally focused. We had to call over another waiter after sitting there at our table after almost 10 minutes after being seated and ask if he was our waiter. He wasn't. He went to get her. She finally showed up. She just wasn't great at listening, nor did she take our order as we requested, and she'd just disappear somewhere. The other waiters and waitresses swirled around helping tables; she disappeared, vanished. On her listening: I ordered a meal and specifically added a side salad. She substituted the side salad for the potatoes and veggies, and then said, I hope that what I did was OK. It wasn't, but I wasn't going to wait for 2 parts of my meal to show up, but the restaurant lost $ because of her inability to listen or check back if she wasn't sure of what I wanted. I just think she's a spacey young person who wasn't trained well, and my review is based on the food being very good, but not great. Would we go back? I doubt it. Not with so many other choices in the area.More infoThe Chart RoomPrice: Expensive• American• Bar Harbor•4.2
