AUGUSTA, Ga. | Georgia College & State University is in eighth place after the second round of the 2024 Peach Belt Conference Men's Golf Championship Saturday (April 20) afternoon.

The Bobcats shot 298 on their second trip around the par 72, 7,086-yard layout on the Forest Hills Golf Club to stand at 588 after 36 holes. The University of North Georgia leads the tournament at 557, eight stroke ahead of Columbus State University.

Chase Blanton carded a 77 and leads all GCSU golfers with a 36-hole tally of 147, good for a tie for 22nd place. Austin Quillian and Billy Goddard are tied for 26th at 148. Quillian posted a one-over par 73, while Goddard signed for a 76. Matthew Rogers shot a 77 and is tied for 33rd place at 150, while Kam McDaniel fired the low round of the day for the Bobcats with an even-par 72 and is in 35th at 151.

The Bobcats will tee off their final round of the 54-hole event Sunday (April 21) at 8:30 a.m. from the No. 1 tee.
