Being the youngest actor to be casted as the main lead, Daniel, for the musical “Jack the Ripper”, FTISLAND’s Song Seunghyun will be having his first musical stage at National Theatre of Korea’s Main Hall on 8 August.

In charge of guitar, rap and vocal in FTISLAND, this is Song Seunghyun’s first time participating in a musical.  His musical stage will begin on 8 August, followed by 10th, 12th 17th, 18th, 19th, 21st and 23rd in Seoul and also 19 September, 1 and 2 October at Aoyama Theatre in Tokyo, Japan.

Song Seunghyun expressed that, “I’m feeling nervous because it’s my first solo activity, but I gained strength from the advice given by Jaejin and Hongki who have had musicals before. Our members will be coming down to support me on the first day of the musical and I’m feeling slightly nervous.”

The musical character, Daniel, is involved in dangerous dealings for the girl he loves, having a heartbreaking romance. Besides Song Seunghyun, Ahn Jaewook, Uhm Kijoon and Super Junior’s Sungmin are also in the joint casting. With the perfect story development, musical stage and good acting skills of the actors, this marks the 3rd year of the long-running musical.

Song Seunghyun is currently busy with the preparations of his musical debut for “Jack the Ripper”.
