Unassuming, with a small parking lot across the street, Columbia Park packs in some views and water access. Enjoy a picnic at the provided table or take the steps down to a waterfall and secluded beach. We loved the beauty here and it’s very peaceful. You could launch a kayak from here if you can get it down the steps. Really enjoyed our time here and listening to the falls while looking out over Lake Erie.

What a sweet little Lake Erie park Columbia Park in Bay Village, Ohio is. Every trip to Cleveland we always stop in the park for fantastic cliff views of Lake Erie in winter or summer the little park offers amazing views of Lake Erie. Bay Village maintains the park and the parking lot on Lake Avenue. There is a set of concrete steps from the cliff top next to the water fall down to the rocky beach. In the stormy weather the steps are closed because the Lake waves smash against the bottom of the steps which break right and left onto the rocky beach. Small children need to be very careful but teens can easily navigate the beach. The beach is a super fun place to explore with great lake driftwood and smooth red bricks. We have been down to the beach exploring in winter and summer and it is really fun. There is swimming but no life guard. Pets must be leashed. Have fun exploring but be careful.
