Beautiful view at the top. Don't let young children ride though
The chairlift entrance station is near the bus station in Anacapri. You have to walk about a half a block to the station. They have free lockers for your belongings and I would recommend doing that. You have to almost jump in the chairs and you just hold the bar down with your hand. It doesn’t lock so some people might be afraid. I would not let young children under 12 ride it because the safety bar doesn't lock. The view at the top though is awesome and you can see the fragolini rocks from there. There is a little cocktail and snack bar at the top. It is nice to sit up the top and enjoy the view. Very nice view.

Beautiful views from the mountains

Amazing views from the top
We came here by taking a bus from Capri to Anacapri. We then queued to buy tickets for the chairlift to get to the top. The chairlift itself was quite an experience. The views from the top were fantastic. We decided to hike down, which wasn't exactly easy, but not too hard. Not for everyone but it’s a short ride for amazing views!
I’m not a fan of chair lifts, ski lifts or gondolas but to see the amazing views needs must! The ride up was ok, you go over a lot of private gardens and never really far off the ground. The views are obviously great (if you can bear to look) it did stop a little but this is from when people struggle to get on/off. The last section is pretty steep! Amazing
As someone who doesn’t like the swinging chairs at theme parks, I was kind of nervous about the cable chairs up the mountain. However, it was amazing and totally worth it for views at the top. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s planning on visiting the island.

Great view, easy getting on and off the lift
We had a lot of fun on the lift. It is one of a kind experience up there and certainly one of the highlights of the visit to Anacapri/ Capri. Prices were perfectly appropriate and we didnt have to wait to get on the lift.

Une vue sur Capri à couper le souffle !

Красивые виды и лучшие панорамы острова Капри.
Самая высокая гора на острове, поэтому здесь лучшие панорамы и виды Капри. Приезжать сюда надо утром или днем, когда большая тень ещё не загораживает солнце, а значит, и фото будут яркими и открыточными. Наверху есть кафе, бесплатные и весьма не плохие туалеты, различные площадки с видами. Добираться сюда лучше всего из Анакапри, на кресельном подъёмнике Seggiovia Monte Solaro. Это около 20 минут замечательного одиночного подъёма, ощущения невероятные, ведь ты сидишь в открытом кресле, ногами болтая в пропасти. По мне, замечательный аттракцион. Работает до 19.30 вечера. Horrible Experience
Amazing views ruined by incredibly ignorant employees of company running the cable chair. Was roared and insulted by 2 employees of this company for 'not sitting down on the chair' fast enough. It would have been nice if I was given the instruction beforehand but they seemed more interested in talking amongst each other and sharing a sandwich - it was around lunchtime I suppose!. I really don't mind an employee having a bad day (we all have them!) but being roared at and insulted is just not acceptable . Unbelievably poor attitude of customer facing employees is just not a good look for an island that is so reliant on tourism.
