Emanuel explored how he and showrunner Leslye Headland collaborated with stunt coordinator Chris Clark Cowan to take The Acolyte's action to a level Star Wars has rarely seen:

"The thing I... got very excited about was Kill Bill. One of the things we talked about really early on was the action... in these kinds of shows, action has to be a character... so I introduced Leslye [Headland] to a guy called Chris Clark Cowan... and action became such a component of this story. For me, it's the best action the franchise has seen - and there's so much of it."

Clark Cowan has long been a stunt coordinator for some of Hollywood's biggest films, including the likes of Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Wonder Woman, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The latter two are extremely exciting credits, with Rogue One's action being among the best in the franchise and Shang-Chi's martial arts scenes ranking among the MCU's best.
