While some may find Star Trek: Enterprise a welcome return to a familiar universe, it's equally as likely to repel those uninterested in mining stories from the franchise's past.

David Segal Washington Post "Enterprise" has a bargain-basement feel that lands just this side of camp; the space fights aren't much more convincing than PlayStation offerings. And everything is wrapped in a trite message about unity and the importance of getting along. Jan 28, 2020 Full Review Ron Wertheimer New York Times ''Enterprise'' gets back to basics, then improves on them. Jan 28, 2020 Full Review Allan Johnson Chicago Tribune Those who never got caught up in the whole "Trek" mystique will find this series approachable and fulfilling, without having to know the dense "Trek" mythology. Jan 28, 2020 Full Review Joshua Tyler Giant Freakin Robot Jeffrey Combs’ brilliant performance as the Andorian Commander Shran demanded he be used as a recurring character, but probably should have also prompted them to go a step further and find a way to make him part of the regular cast. Mar 12, 2024 Full Review Kevin Carr Fat Guys at the Movies The 90s Star Trek charm has waned through this series, which has some nice elements but too many rough spots to make it top-tier Trek. Rated: 2.5/4 Sep 1, 2023 Full Review Peter Canavese Groucho Reviews Many Season One stories flounder through familiar-feeling alien-encounter and spatial-phenomena plots, but just as many episodes stand out for their creative energy. Audience Member All I can say is that they really tried, and I love them for it This is much more earnest than New Trek, which is cynical to the bone. Take me back to the mediocre shows of the 2000s. At least the writers didn't hate their fans back then Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review Dan B Enterprise is one of the best Treks on TV. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/04/23 Full Review Benjamin S The Season has a few really good episodes but also has some really bad ones. The concept of a star trek show that's a little less futuristic is pretty cool but the writing needs some work. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/22/23 Full Review Dr. H There are cool stories with interesting characters. Wouldn't say it's the best season though. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review K L to date my favourite Star Trek TV- show. I don't get all the hate it got. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Arthur D Whoever the writers are for season 1 of this series deserve recognition for good story telling. They stick to the plot and don't get off track and have action, drama, and enough twists and truns to satisfy any audience. I am hoping the remainder of the seasons will live up to this 1st season and continue with excellent stories, action and drama. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/18/22 Full Review Read all reviews
