"In IcitiH 197S, I iiinviul bank to Tcirnntn after living in I os Angelns for six years. Mandala. Bush. The Janies
Bang and the Guess Who were all behind me. I wasn’t sore what. I wanted to do musically, hut I knew I needed a
band which would have the ability to fuse many different elements into something unique. As I settled hack
into "Toronto Life”, I started chucking out musicians at clubs, jam sessions, hon/e nans and just about
anywhere else you could hear and make music.”

“By February of 1B7B. the first incarnation of The Domenic Troiann Band was in place. The next fhur years
were some of the most creative and exciting times of my life. I was surrounded by great musicians, who gave
the bead their heart and soul. Fven though members changed from time to time, the level of musicianship
and friendship stayed high. It was wonderful to have a group of players, that were always ready and able to
experiment and develop new ideas.”

“This compilation includes music from “Burnin At The Stake”, “The Jokes Do Me". “Fret Fever", and two songs
that were recorded Live and never previously released. I would like to thank all the great musicians, singers,
producers, engineers, and everyone else who made the music possible."

"I will always look hack at this time, as a special period of my life. Thanks for listening!”
