Imelda Staunton is an English actress, born on January 9, 1956. She began her career in repertory theatre in 1976 and has since performed in various theater productions in the United Kingdom. Staunton has won four Laurence Olivier Awards, including three for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for her performances in 'Into the Woods,' 'Sweeney Todd,' and 'Gypsy.'
