Meta Platforms Stock Finishes at a Record High

Shares of Meta Platforms rallied 20% on Friday, ending at a record high $474.99.

Today's move added more than $200 billion to Meta's market value, the biggest one-day market cap gain for any U.S. company in history. It finished at $1.21 trillion.

The jump follows the company initiating its first dividend and reporting strong quarterly sales growth.
