Took the dinghy in from our sailboat to the beach just next to the lobster pot. Stopped in for a glass of wine and some conch fritters. Very enjoyable, the service was friendly and professional and the location is unbeatable.

Exceptional service, beautiful view and nice food! We had the mango ceviche, lobster risotto, catch of the day &Cayman trio & ended with the coconut cream pie. Everything was delicious.

Went for lunch. Walked right in and sat outside enjoying the ocean view. Service was good. Food was good, would have liked a little more variety.

We arrived as they opened at 5pm and were seated outside at "the best table-it's my favorite". And it was. The evening was slightly overcast which was great for dining outdoors, we were at a 2-top overlooking an endless ocean view, and the island breeze was warm. Service was welcoming, friendly and impeccable - Lee from Kenya was our server but several others stopped by to enquire if there was anything we were in need of. The French Pinot Noir complemented our Lobster bisque, seafood penne (scallops, shrimp, fish, lobster) and catch of the day blackened wahoo. Both soup and main dishes were cooked to perfection with crisp tender vegetables. Unexpected bonus - watching boats and sea-doos being loaded next door at end of day plus tarpon and crabs swimming just below. The sunset would have been spectacular if not for the overcast skies. Recommend!

I have been to The Lobster Pot multiple times over the years with my family while on vacation. The service is STILL top notch, but their food has lost its luster. The trio was bland and boring, the lobster thermidor was rubbery, and the crab was just so so. It is clear that they are still an island staple, but that seems to be in name and service only now. If they focused their energy on improving their kitchen, this place would still be great, but it’s just overcooked and overpriced. It is truly a pity.

One of the surprisingly better restaurants in Grand Cayman. Best view and we so appreciated the attention that our server Brenda has provided throughout the night.

This is a very nice restaurant with a beautiful view of the sunset. The food was delicious. We ate the seafood curry, lobster poutine, tuna mango ceviche and the soup of the day-tomato with coconut milk. It’s very pricey

Beautiful setting, excellent service and delicious food. The restaurant overlooks the water and was a great place to see a Caribbean sunset. Entire staff was friendly and went out of their way to serve you. Garlic tiger shrimp with fresh vegetables was very good.

We chose to take a taxi here from our hotel hoping for a nice meal since the location is beautiful. Our daughter ordered pasta with butter only. It came out with cheese on it which she cannot eat. When we told our server he argued, brought it back to the kitchen and instead of bringing her new pasta, he brought it back to us with the cheese scraped off her pasta...still melted to the noodles. What TERRIBLE service. It ruined the whole dinner for us from the start. We couldn't believe they wouldn't just make a new dish of pasta for her. It also took 1 hour for our food to come out after our kids meals were delivered. Definitely skip this restaurant.

Beautiful sunset view on outside patio. The food and the service were excellent. We will be back! Parking is across the street but not bad.

Came here for dinner recently—got a table on their outdoor back patio overlooking the water. Food was delicious! For starters, the Escargot was delicious, baked in herb garlic butter. For entrees, would recommend the Seafood Penne and Filet Mignon & Lobster Mash Potato! For cocktails, we tried the Cayman Coladas, which was interesting because it had Irish cream and vanilla ice cream in it—mixed feelings on this one.

My love and I had the most amazing experience at The Lobster Pot! We vacationed on Grand Cayman in September, and while my review is severely delayed, the grand experience is still fresh in my mind! I have various food restrictions/allergies, and contacted the restaurant ahead of our vacation. This is the only are where my experience could have been improved, as it took me reaching out a couple of times to get a response from the restaurant. However, once my contact understood the complexity of my restrictions, I was put directly in touch with Chef Kerry Ann. Can I say, she is not only an amazing chef, but such a warm and hospitable woman?! I submitted my list of restrictions, along with my list of safe foods. Chef Kerry Ann focused on my list of can-have foods, and crafted a delightful, safe, delicious, flavorful meal! My first course was a ceviche with local fresh catch and freshly made plantain chips. Dinner consisted of another fresh catch of the day, prepared with flavorful white sweet potato mash, vegetable medley, and a coconut cream sauce. Everything tasted so divine! We were also placed at a table directly over the water's edge, and in our opinion, was the best view in the house! We chose our dinner time to intentionally fall at sunset, and we were not disappointed! This was our one special dinner out during our stay, and it was a most memorable experience! We will definitely be back, whenever we are able to make it to Cayman again! Thanks again, Chef Kerry Ann!

Any restaurant set on the second floor with views of boats, water, and fish, is a winner in my eyes. The building could certainly use some work, though. Coupled with the views were plenty of tarpon waiting in the water for a meal. While that is always entertaining to watch, if you want an engaging tarpon show, you’re better off going to The Wharf. This show was simply throwing meat into the water for the fish to chase. Still, though, it is fun to dine overlooking the water with large fish swimming next to you. As far as the food, the escargot came with a “famous“ sauce. The sauce was a standard garlic sauce with tomatoes, and what seemed like pesto. It was an awfully odd combination to me, but to each his own. The pot dinner included Alaskan king crab legs, which seemed somewhat unique on the island. Very tasty. The trio had more standard fair. While still good, there was nothing too unique about it. Overall, expensive, like everything else on the island, but better than most.

Not great.....was looking forward to eating here for my birthday weekend and thinking I was to have good lobster. The lobster bisque was good, but the cold conch appetizer was oversauced with not a lot of conch for the price. Dinner plate was so bad....we had the Cayman trio- lobster, mahi mahi and shrimp were all over cooked(or warmed up again) with no fresh taste. Typically, islands cannot go wrong with their fresh fish....it should just melt in your mouth, and you taste the wonderful flavor of its freshness ...this place had neither...an absolute disappointment. Then the veggies that came with were semi raw....no flavor with any of it. Food was also not hot, as if it had just been prepared, but Luke warm. Due to the toughness of all the fish, I can only assume it was warmed up from earlier in the day. Service was mediocre. Not much pep or excitement. With them even knowing it was my birthday, no one mentioned it, but the hostess for seating us with our reservation..... waitress said nothing, no song, no 'dessert on the house'....I don't expect these things, but it was interesting that no one recognized that as part of an expensive experience. Overpriced, bad food and mediocre service is my reviews for this place....don't bother
