Peter Howell Toronto Star It seems unnervingly accurate for anxious times. Rated: 3/4 Sep 30, 2016 Full Review Kate Taylor Globe and Mail As the baddies get nicer - or at least quieter - the plot slackens and Ragussis plods his way through a transparent three-act structure towards a less-than-thrilling denouement. Rated: 2/4 Sep 30, 2016 Full Review Jim Slotek Toronto Sun In the end, Imperium is fairly gripping entertainment that overcomes its faults. It brings nothing new to the table. But chalk up another unlikely win for Radcliffe. Rated: 3/5 Sep 29, 2016 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review The film fails to engage because of its miscast leading man and its unsuccessful attempts to elevate itself above a standard undercover cop yarn. Rated: 2/4 Apr 11, 2022 Full Review Victoria Luxford City AM Imperium feels like a vehicle for Radcliffes range, an uncomfortable and competent drama thats most memorable for showing a very different side to its star. Rated: 3/5 Feb 18, 2022 Full Review Richard Crouse Richard Crouse Instead of exploring the psychopathology of hatred and anti-Semitism in the United States it is content to play as a thriller and little else. Eye C The only thing that feels odd it’s the ending but the movie is hard in what it speaks about. I like it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/06/24 Full Review Tibor F Watched half of it, and that was okay. And I could not tell myself why am I watching this, so I simply stopped watching, and I did not feel any remorse. I don't have a clue what the ending is, never looked it up, and this is very rare. There is no story, no mystery whatsoever. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review velda w Extremely powerful. Very unsettling. Thought provoking. Daniel Radcliffe best role I have seen him in since Harry Potter. Wonderfully superb cast. Toni Collette, great supporting role. Very absorbing and a great pace. Very interwoven story, and a seriously brave individual. I never knew there was so much reading out their on white supremacy - scary! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/31/23 Full Review Mattgo90 I enjoyed this movie. It was fun watching a crime drama where there was no doubt that the criminals in the movie were actually criminals. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Nol P What a good movie! Just excellent performances by Radcliffe and Collette. Good thing I had this on dvd that I acquired by fluke as I never have seen it on any movie platform. Very well put together and a must see. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/17/23 Full Review Kyle J Good idea that was left flat. Anything but thrilling. Long set up with dull climax. Good moral about victimhood.
