Copley High School is truly one of a kind. You can feel the warmth and sense of community from the moment you enter this School. As a student, I can truly speak to the benefit of Copley High School's approach to education. Being a student here felt like I was a part of a team or one vast loving family. I find the teacher's acute attention to detail and inextinguishable fervor for their craft to be the formula for success in the classroom. The ability to work at my own pace and to be presented with new challenges daily is something I valued the most at Chs. As a child I transferred to several different schools, yet I've only ever felt at home and complete at Copley High School. This is a place I will forever advocate for!
I absolutely love Copley High School. The mode is relaxed, but work can be very strenuous based on a course load students take. The high level classes, like AP, CCP, and Honors classes mostly have very high level teachers with good educational strategies. Issues with school life can be taken to administration and dealt with very easily. The school has few issues with student disruption and provides ways for students to be creative with their learning throughout the school day. I think that the school should change the allocation of funds, though, because in recent years they have spent a lot of money on upgrading the Copley Football Field entryway and other elements. I think that the use of that money could be used to increase education for students, or to provide for other sports that are struggling more than the football team, or sports with a better track record. Copley has high level academics and extracurriculars, and is a very good school to attend for driven students.
Throughout my time at Copley High School, I have succeeded academically, having been challenged fairly by the classes that I have taken. I most appreciate the clean atmosphere and wide range of class options, especially those through which I have earned dual credit. My favorite classes have been the Advanced Placement classes that I have completed.
