The communication proposal establishes the differences between the study of digital communication and analog communication and highlights the importance that exists in the contribution of theories about new media environments. In this sense, the theory of hypermediation opens a new area to study that this research aims to build the theory of hypermediation and determine what are the types of hypermediations, which are socials and consumption, and techniques. The study has determined the influence on young university students in Ecuador who have characteristics such as urban security, connectivity, and social pressure.
