Maya’s paternal grandfather is Jeffrey R. Clark (the son of Robert Stratton Clark and Lida Frances Ornellas). Jeffrey was born in Hawaii. Robert was the son of Carl Sidney Clark and Dorothy Kitto Cramp. Lida was the daughter of Manuel Rodrigues Ornellas (born Antone Rodrigues), who was Portuguese, from Madeira; and of Christine Texeira, whose parents were also Portuguese.
