Holdren’s never disappoints. The food is delicious and the staff is super friendly and attentive! Whether we sit inside or out on the patio it’s a great setting either way. They have a nice bar too :)

Our first time here and we enjoyed our dinner very much. We liked the Ribs and the Salmon main courses. I thought the Tomato Basil Soup was delicious. We had the Mud Pie for a nice end to our dinner.

Holdren's is always a winner when it comes to good food and atmosphere. I usually go for Happy hour(It's fantastic) but go for dinner on special occasions.

Always a perfectly cooked steak! The specials are top notch and the service is always incredible. If you don’t eat steak, the chicken and fish are the best around.

Great service, food was excellent. Only glitch were nats flying around in side dining room. We were able to move table to main room - no nats. Will definitely be back. Filet and ribeye were excellent.

Went there for our anniversary and everything was very good. To top it off they had a half price sale on Champagne which topped off the meal. Wife said to me we need to come back here more often.

Love the Sunday and Monday half of select bottles of great wine. The wait staff is always very kind and helpful. Didn’t care for the hostess at the front desk this time. Wasn’t very friendly.

My wife a I eat here periodically due to distance. The Apple walnut salad is incredibly tasty and highly recommended but on the sweet side. The entrees of kobe burger with sautéed onions and the grilled BBQ prawns were tasty and well prepared. I wouldn't pair the sweet salad with the sweet BBQ sauce. Too much. Our server was great. We had early reservations Saturday night in advance of a concert. The noise level was such that the server and I had to repeat our conversations.

The jalapeño crusted pork chop was excellent. The tomato basil soup was the best I’ve ever had. Also, they serve Rombauer by the glass. A++

Sundays and Mondays are 1/2 off select bottles of wine!! We will definitely be back to enjoy that perk!! Had steak, baked potato, coconut shrimp, salad and dessert! Great service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food here is always excellent. I recommend upgrading your side dish to the parmesan risotto. It is sublime. The bar can sometimes get noisy so you may want to request a table away from it if you want a quieter atmosphere.

We have gone to Holdren's for years. The food is great and the service is usually very good, but it is ALWAYS noisy and loud even with just a few people in the main dining room. It must be something with the high ceilings and acoustics. We decided we will not go back to dine in the inside dining area, but would prefer to be outside on their patio. That said, the food was excellent!

Celebrated my wife’s Birthday. They seated us in a nice nice booth. My wife had the Sea-bass, which was very good. I had a huge Lobster tail. Fantastic dinner and our waiter, Stephan, was awesome. He took care of everything for us. Then he brought over a cheese cake with a candle that keep relighting itself. Great time. Thank you

My husband and I had dinner there tonight for the first time. My husband ordered the Beef Wellington. It was delicious as was my 6 oz Filet. It was perfectly prepared. Ordered the steamers as an appetizer. Loved the broth! Only wish we had more than 2 pieces of bread to soak up more of the broth!

Our son just came home for spring break and wanted a steak. Holdren's did not disappoint! We were greeted by 3 people while they were setting up our table. I am so used to being completely ignored by other servers while waiting in the front and the people that worked here were just friendly. The service didn't stop there. Our server was so funny and joined in our family conversations it was like eating at a friends house. We have always loved the atmosphere at Holdren's every time we come and the food is perfect!

We had a really nice birthday dinner for my father here. The service was outstanding and the food was good. The prices are reasonable for a steakhouse. We had the scallop appetizer which we all enjoyed. The prime rib was cooked perfectly. The only negative were the Brussel sprouts which were more on the boiled side and we prefer roasted. They brought a complimentary cheesecake for the birthday celebration as well.

Holdren’s is great. Five-star dining without the pretense. Wonderful food, delightful service and an elegant atmosphere that is warm and friendly. Certainly not cheap but the value is tremendous.

Always my go to restaurant while traveling to Thousand Oaks - convenient to several Marriott locations also, just across the parking lot. Wide variety of food - seafood, pastas, burgers / sandwiches, and awesome steaks. Service is always on point and very efficient! Great wine, beer, cocktail and spirits selection.

My wife and I have been going to Holdrens for special occasion and have sat in the bar room area which was very noisy. This time when I made our reservation I asked if we could be seated someplace off the bar room dinning area and we were. We enjoyed our meal a lot better because we could hear ourself talk during our meal. I think, as a Steak & Seafood restaurant Holdrens should invest in more quiet rooms. Other then that we had a great time and the service was fantastic.

I just enjoyed my last bite of leftover peanut butter pie dessert, my favorite. This is the best restaurant in Newbury Park for both staff and food. You can't beat it. Well done Holdren's, you're awesome.
