None of the stores had deals I would expect from an outlet. None of them had any good regular sales either.

There weren’t many stores we thought were worth visiting but obviously everyone is looking for something different. I’d suggest checking the directory first though.

Store selection very average. Best store was probably the video game/pop culture store called play and talk or something like that. If you’re stuck in Gulfport for an hour or two, solid place to go.

We went to Gulfport Biloxi on the gulf coast Mississippi as part of our family beach vacation and found out that when we arrived at Gulfport Biloxi that nobody uses the 25 miles of clean white sandy beach, but mainly go to Gulfport Biloxi for the casino’s and night life entertainment. There are about eight casinos scattered around some of which are a twenty minute walk apart and some situated together in the Biloxi area and more casinos in the Gulfport area.
On our last day we stayed in a hotel on Highway 49 which was inland Gulfport area. You need a car here just to cross the busy highway as there are no pedestrian crossings, and as restaurants and stores are situated on both sides of the very busy highway. It was very dangerous! But we needed to be close to the airport for an early extraction the next morning. There was airplane noise but this stopped about 10pm and the airplanes were very low!!
Shops are plentiful, Walmart, Home depot, and a shopping mall that’s as good as any mall to do you shopping with all the usual stores and food court areas. Appleby’s on highway 49 Gulfport do a great steak!!

It cost us $45 to get to Biloxi beach front in a taxi cab using the airport taxi service.
The beaches are clean but most people do not use the beach as they say the water is dirty, the water was not bad when we were there but if while you are in the sea you put your hand in the sand and pull the sand out of the water, you will see that the sand is black, and lumps of what looked like sea coal and charcoal washed up all along the sea front and smelt of sulphur. This we were told was due to the water coming from the Mississippi river being trapped in the gulf bay, as the sea tides do not enter the bay to flush out and regenerate the sea shore waters. There was however plenty of fish in the bay and loads of people fishing on the piers. The fishermen even throw the big fishing nets into the sea to catch their fishing bait. The beach does not have any life guards; the water is not pretty at all. It is murky and very shallow. You could probably walk about 300 yards out into the water before even getting close to getting to your head. This beach served its purpose for me, which was to relax in the sun for a couple of hours a day. Ideal for young children to play in the sea on the deserted beaches, yes we walked along the beach for an hour long walk and only seen about 100 people on the beach.
On the shore front there is only casinos and hotels, no shops, as they all moved inland when hurricane Katrina hit in 2003 and were never replaced due to the high insurance prices and the chance a big hurricane may hit in the future. You could hire beach chairs in some areas but these areas were few and far between, but you could not buy a beach chair in the area unless you when eight miles in to the local Walmart store. No souvenir shops at all. We went for a walk along the sea front and found loads of green signs dotted along the sea front. The signs represented the old buildings that used to be situated there but unfortunately they were all destroyed by hurricane Katrina and all signs on an open plot of land are all that remains? Even in the back streets you can see drives and mail boxes and lowered drive way kerbs but no houses, this being the doing of hurricane Katrina
The main eating places are the casinos as there is not much choice on the sea front.
The casino’s charge between $35 >$45 for a steak but the all you can eat buffets in the casinos are about$25 and well worth the value.
Just outside the Biloxi visitor centre is an old lighthouse, they charge you $5 to have a look around and has very limited opening times. Would it not make better business sense to actually open the lighthouse all day and ask for cash donations during the visit to pay for up keep and service of the lighthouse?
The casinos are not as glamorous as the casinos we have been to in Las Vegas or Atlantic City New Jersey, as they are not as big and posh, and the beach front defiantly needs a boardwalk and shops. The local mall is about six miles away, and if like us, we did not have any car so we had to use the local bus service costing $2 a journey, but it was a little bit scary on the local bus with the locals, some were a bit loud for our liking. But Gulfport Biloxi on a whole was visitor friendly.

I know everyone thinks this place is a great place to shop cause its an outlet mall so it must be cheaper! Well you are absolutely wrong. The prices at these stores are extremely high and you can get the same items across the street for half the price at Ross, Burkes, or even TJ Maxx. Don't let me lie, I do go there for specific stores when they have sales and I have coupons. Overall, this is a nice place for people who want to spend money. They have a food court, bathrooms, and even a playground.

We were so glad to see the shops thriving and in full swing after recovering from hurricane Katrina. The "grounds" were well kept and maintained, and there is ample parking with easy access to any of the stores.

The outlet mall is worth a stop if only to stretch your legs while traveling along I-10. The outlet mall is clean with nice landscaping and clean restrooms. The store selection has everything from UnderArmour to Coach to Bass to Vanity Fair to SAS to Lee to Gap so something for every member of your family. The mall tends to be under visited so while the selection is good more crowded outlets usually have better bargains.

A wide variety of shops as in most outlet centers, from name brand clothing to kitchen items. Hitting a sale makes the pricing that much more enticing. All outdoor shops with covered walkways. Benches scattered thoughout and a foodcourt. Easy to get to, right off Hwy 49 in Gulfport and plenty of parking.

We have stopped at this Outlet Mall a couple times on our road trips. It is the typical outlet mall, some good deals, and other time, nothing exceptional. Is an outdoor mall, and laid out nicely We do like the store options they have, and will most likely stop again on our next trip through the area

I visited the Gulfport Outlets particularly to purchase a birthday present for my granddaughter. It was a very pleasant and sunny day in Gulfport, so it was nice to walk around on the outside while shopping. There are numerous stores for all types of shopping. From home finds to children wear and designer stores. There is a food court, plenty of clean restrooms, and even a little play area for kids.
