Tom Shales Washington Post ER" is an antidote to bad TV... It's the Grand Hotel formula in a hospital, and it works grandly. Feb 4, 2021 Full Review John J. O'Connor New York Times E.R. is more solidly connected with the real world, and it, too, can deliver powerfully affecting scenes. Feb 4, 2021 Full Review Brian Courtis The Age (Australia) Watching people trying to save people works... You soon feel both the soap-opera and the trauma are in good hands. A healthy new arrival. Feb 4, 2021 Full Review Alan Pergament Buffalo News A variety of non-stop cases illustrate the relentless pressure experienced in a life-and-death environment. Off only one first visit, ER would be my doctor choice. Rated: 4/5 Feb 4, 2021 Full Review Jennifer L. Stevenson Tampa Bay Times The pace of ER is sometimes so frenetic, it's hard to keep up. Crichton obviously wants to make grand points, but the moments fly by and with it, the significance. Major points for a diverse cast. Rated: B+ Feb 4, 2021 Full Review Bruce R. Miller Sioux City Journal It's more dense than Chicago Hope, but it's every bit as good. Expect stardom for its cast. Rated: A+ Feb 3, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member This show for 1994 was a fresh take on the Hospital Drama and I loved every minute of it once I was old enough to appreciate it. I went to any and all thrift stores to find a copy of each and every season missing only a few. This show was RAW, Edgy, Harftfelt, and full of patient drama. This show still to this day puts modern-day shows like Chicago Med, Grey's Anatomy, and Even Station 19 to shame. As much as I like these shows there will never be one like this again. They tried with Trauma in 2010 and It did not totally work. There will never be another Doug ross or carol Hathaway, dr green or dr Bention again. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a great serie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review greg m first of all how can this have an Audience Score of 100% liked it if there are no audience reviews, and mine is the first and only one, ok now on to the review, I am watching this show in 2018 and I only saw parts of episodes when this was out and boy I wish I watched it in real life it would have been totally in line with my own time line, although I did not think the pilot episode was as mind blowing as everyone has said, the show is very good, so far, it is really neat to see all the no names who came through the ER doors as special guests and have become stars of their own Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
