Debi Enker The Age (Australia) Devils has the slightly tinny feel of a drama that's trying to tick boxes: troubled protagonist, high stakes, a suspicious death, conspiracies everywhere. But its emotional depth penetrates no further than the shiny surfaces. Rated: 3/5 May 12, 2021 Full Review Ed Power Daily Telegraph (UK) There's not enough of either star in an opening episode that moves quickly and slickly but ultimately feels too much like a poor man's Wall Street. Rated: 2/5 Feb 24, 2021 Full Review Ed Cumming Independent (UK) Despite its frantic pace and shiny surfaces, Devils lapses into dullness more often than it ought to. You don't expect to like these guys, but they're meant to have a few good tunes. Rated: 2/5 Feb 22, 2021 Full Review James Delingpole The Spectator If the script can't get such basic details right, why should the viewer buy in to the bigger storyline? Jul 19, 2021 Full Review Zehra Phelan 2 Minute Telly A bit of a slog, but it's worth sticking around for the 2nd half as the half-empty void of style over substance begins to fade and the financial muscle takes on some meaty intrigue. Rated: 3/5 Mar 18, 2021 Full Review Euan Ferguson Observer (UK) With all the jet-setting international action, it can feel oddly like an ill-dubbed melange of accents, which makes the plot, such as it is, hard to follow. Main problem, though, is that it's so hard to truly care about any of the characters. Feb 23, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Chau T In the middle of season 2 - I’m hooked! Read up on the plot line before you start watching season 1 to better understand it. The show definitely gets better as it goes on. Sky Atlantic - when is season 3 coming?? Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/24 Full Review Jeff W An interesting variable plot set in a contemporary financial world with many messages on the power and ruthlessness of the banking system. The characters were believable and strong, the scenery and backgrounds a feast for the eyes. I really liked it and am now awaiting season 2 Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Rod M Great series to watch Love to know the name of song in Series 1,Episode 2, about halfway through where Massimo is working at a bar and meets Carrie. It has Now it's Time in lyrics, but cannot find song anyway Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolutely refreshing and intelligent drama. Pleased it has been renewed for a second season. You need to pay attention in this fast moving series, but it is well worth the effort. Great casting, love the European style of directing. Love the noir aspect to this series. Well worth watching. - JB Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Brilliant, but needed intelligence and concentration to appreciate. Perhaps this is why critics gave it a low rat- it was very hard for them. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I've only watched the first episode. Reasonable story, but nothing new if you've seen other films or series about high flying financial dealings. The plot line with the wife is a little far-fetched. The rich guy/poor guy confrontation got tedious eventually as it just repeated the same old glances from-a-far. What I found particularly bad was the sound quality, dialogue incomprehensible at times not helped by the sound level of the music playing, something affirmed by two other viewers of the same episode. I will watch some more episodes but the plot and the sound quality will have to get a lot better. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
