I just restrung my Beltona concert uke with a set of D'addario black nylon strings.
This is what the builder recommends, however....
the C string is very dead and thuddy sounding.

The next time I change them, I won't be using the same.

What strings do you favor on your reso uke? Why?

Well I haven't made a study of it, but I use Living Waters fluorocarbons on all my ukes, and have a low G set on my Beltona Tenor. Sounds good, but as I say I haven't run any real comparisons.

I string my homemade 'lunchbox' reso with Worth Brown Medium strings. Works fine for me.The uke is concert scale BTW.

Thanks Topdog and besley!
I have a set of Worth Browns here in my drawer, I'll try those, if that don't work, I'll get some Living Waters!
