In a state known for its skiing, how likely is it that people will head to a year-round snow-sports center covered with synthetic snow? Very. At least that’s what Shawn Temple, development director at Weston Solutions Inc., thinks.  Recently the company entered into a letter of intent with the town of Castle Rock for a public-private partnership to develop the Castle Rock Year-Round Snow Sports Center at Philip S. Miller Park.

The center would offer skiing, snowboarding and tubing on slopes covered with Snowflex, a snow-like synthetic facility. Learn more.
