There are a couple of things I liked about PCC. One is that they teach you everything you need to know so that you can transfer to a 4 year college. On top of that, they provide you with tutoring and resource centers so that there is no excuse as to why you couldn't further your education. All of my professors were amazing and they truly cared about each student and their success. The only thing I would like to see changed is the school security. Many times there are homeless people on campus while students are on campus.
I absolutely love PCC. They offer so many resources to help out their students including transfer students. If it wasn't for there resources I wouldn't be as informed as I am now.
I love PCC, It's where I got my start as a college student, and most classes were easy to navigate around. However, if you get stuck with a professor that may not be great, it gets pretty challenging. I would say that only happens 25% of the time. but other than that, campus life is great, a lot of resources are available for students to use, free tutoring, and a transfer center, the counselors are great, and always helpful.
100% Recommend, Pasadena City. College is a really wonderful school! Great teachers and campus and online learning experience.
Pasadena City College is a great city college that offers a variety of classes and plenty of support to transfer. It is a great college if you want to save money and transfer to a university or just get your associate's degree. They have an abundance of resources and provide many opportunities for you to succeed
The school is very nice, and meet all of the standard requirements. It is located near Old Town Pasadena, a beautiful city. It provides a variety of programs and known for its high transferability rate.
I liked how home-like it felt at times. The location is pretty nice. Although, some professors can be better. The campus is pretty as well.
Dual enrollment student, took many classes which I enjoyed thoroughly. My professors have been fantastic; however, I have heard complaints from my peers about some professors.
Pasadena City College is known for its extremely well-directed transfer center. They have a lot of success coaches who are currently in Master's degree and designed to help PCC students to achieve higher education goals. The counselors are also amazing. They give us well-prepared education plan, so my success in college is assured. The faculty and professors are very academic too. They are considerate, loving, giving, and so skillful in teaching. I love their website. It's really neat and organized.
I liked how pretty the campus is and how big it is for a community college. I also like how friendly the people are.
Pasadena City College offered me a safe and reliable campus experience with numerous academic and personal resources at my disposal. Many of my teachers have been easily accessibly and have always greatly employed their students to be successful in their academic pursuits. PCC has also provided me with tremendous opportunities such as club, one of which I am now the president of, and numerous internship opportunities. They offer so much support when it comes to applying to colleges for transfer both financially and physically. The only thing I would like to see change in is their parking situation, as I've heard many stories of students having to face the financial burdens of parking tickets and parking passes, which put a strain on their ability to finance other aspects of their education such as purchasing textbooks.
In my experience at PCC, I've found several commendable aspects. Firstly, the affordability and accessibility of parking facilities are a significant improvement compared to my previous institution. Additionally, the professionalism and dedication of the faculty at PCC stand out. They are both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about teaching, enhancing the overall learning experience.
However, there are areas for improvement. The lack of adequate lighting on campus poses safety concerns, especially during evening classes. Addressing this issue is crucial for fostering a secure environment for all. Furthermore, while the proximity of dining options is convenient, the high cost of cafeteria meals is burdensome for students on a budget. In summary, while PCC has many strengths, there are opportunities for enhancement. By addressing safety concerns and improving affordability, PCC can further support its diverse student body and continue to excel as an institution of higher learning.

My experience at Pasadena City College has been great overall. All of the professors I've had were helpful. It's been great to be apart of the SLPA program as well!
I liked that signing up for courses is quite seamless. Although I did find that getting help with what courses to sign up for was quite difficult.
I liked it a lot, very flexible, and if you stay focused it's a great option for anyone. Definitely recommend coming here right out of high school instead of a 4-year.
Going to PCC, I didn't think I would learn much compared to a four year university. However, this mindset was proved to be completely wrong. During my time here, I have worked with a variety of amazing professors and people who have taught me a lot of things not just regarding my field of study (data science), but also with my way of thinking. From economics to anthropology, I have found a love for learning here which was not present in my high school self. To sum it up in simple terms, if I had the chance to restart my life again, I will always choose the Pasadena City College route in my education adventure.
Pasadena city college has been by far one of the best community colleges that I have ever attended. The professors are very well rounded and care about their teachings, the students are also very happy to be there! I have never had a bad experience when it came to PCC, I wish they did four year degrees! I will always appreciate the knowledge and teachings that have been instilled into me at this place! I encourage anyone in the process of selecting a community college to select this one! :)
