Notes

Standard jewel case with O-card slipcase
8-page booklet
Silver ink used throughout in artwork (shows as grey on scans).
Some copies come with a regular greyish black tray, some with a black tray - covering the insert backside, printed uniform black.
Durations are not listed on the release.

The correct title of track 15 is "Das Testament Des Mabuse", not "Das Testaments Des Mabuse" – which is used on some of the original 1984 singles.
Track 19 (3:38) starts with "Femme Fatale (The Orchid)" (3:20) and continues with the hidden track "Disturbdance One" (0:12) after a brief silent period (0:06). "Disturbdance One" later appeared on its own in The Eight Testaments Of Propaganda and P: Machinery (Reactivated). The track features the voice of Suzanne Freytag, speaking a line from "Dr. Mabuse".

The "testaments" are excerpted vocal bits that have no purpose on their own, except to add new titles to an ever-expanding galaxy. The video and Top of the Pop mixes are very, very slightly smoother and simpler. This version of the Beta mix of "P:Machinery" has an extra vocal exchange at the beginning, but is missing the reprise at the end. Remixes of "Dream Within A Dream", and "Frozen Faces (A Secret Sense Of Sin)" sound like bad mistakes. "Femme Fatale (The Orchid)" is an instrumental version with extra piano. "Wonder" is a part of the "Do Well" cassette that I assume you have from the anniversary re-issue of "A Secret Wish".

The most interesting snippet is "P:Machinery (Alpha)", described as an out-take from Rough Mix (Alpha). It sounds like an original demo version, but is woefully incomplete.

This album adds nothing to the Propaganda oeuvre, and indeed might harm their reputation if it was the first thing someone heard.

the booklet states "Propaganda will appear next on Zambient One". Really intrigued to know what this is.

Was in two minds about purchasing this, but the inclusion of some unreleased material seems to sway it.
