Other favorites for the award include DopesickThe Dropout, and Pam & Tommy.

It was a tough race this year with over 170 shows submitted to the Television Academy. As with any year, there were some snubs in the Best Limited Series category. Moon Knight was shut out of the Primetime Emmy's highest honor for a limited series but could still strike gold in eight creative art categories, including Best Vocal Performance for F. Murray Abraham. Many critics believe Watergate drama Gaslit led by Julia Roberts and Sean Penn, should have had a crack at the Emmy, but its hard with a selection as great as this year's nominees.
