Matthew J Parkin, D.D.S.

Graduated from the University of Utah in 1993.  Following his graduation he matriculated at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.  He completed his dental degree with honors.

After dental school Dr. Parkin returned to Utah and received advanced training in general dentistry at the University of Utah’s General Practice Residency program.   Here he gained experience and training in medically compromised patients and hospital-based dentistry.

Dr. Parkin returned to the University of Southern California for specialty training in endodontics.  Here he learned all advanced aspects of endondontic therapy, surgical care and he is proficient in treating trauma to permanent and primary dentition. Dr. Parkin served on faculty at USC in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: Anesthesia and Medicine.

He has lectured colleagues and dental residents in Surgical Endodontics, Nickel Titanium Instrumentation and Effective Antibiotic Therapy for Endodontics.

Dr. Parkin joined Endodontic Associates as a full partner in 2001 specializing in endodontics.  During this time he has also served as clinical assistant professor at the University of Utah General Practice Residency program.

Dr. Parkin is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association and Utah Dental Association.
