Return to the Riverside

Team Me is the project of the Norwegian singer/songwriter Marius Drogsas Hagen, who has experienced international success and attention for his alternative pop universe.“Return to the Riverside"follows the critically acclaimed "To The Treetops” (2011), “Blind as Night” (2014) and “Something in the Making” (2022). The debut album gained wide international acclaim and became the best selling indie record of the year in Japan and received a Norwegian Grammy.

The album is influenced by a “back-to-basics” approach allowing for a more stripped-down and organic sound than previously heard from Team Me. “Return to the Riverside” is a deeply personal album that deals with topics such as depression, mental health, drug use, sweet nostalgia and, nonetheless, love.

The album was written and recorded in less than three months, which can be considered a personal record for Drogsas Hagen and the rest of Team Me. The lyrics are direct and simple, and the result is a more grown-up, slimmer and more focused Team Me.
