My husband and another couple stopped here for an early dinner before a concert at the Dunkin Donuts Center. The food was excellent. I had the dolled up grilled cheese and everyone else had the shrimp tacos. Service was a bit slow but it was...also quite busy when we were there. Would definitely recommend.More

We had a party for 30 people or so in the back room. The staff was great, good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. Very satisfied.

I met a customer here for lunch at his recommendation even though he had not been here before. I had the cheesesteak grinder and I am glad I did as it was full of meat and didn't skimp on the flavor, cheese or toppings. I...had to cole slaw as my side but after I got it I was wishing I had ordered the tater tots. The slaw was lacking flavor and was kind of dry. My customer had the impossible burger which he said was a little over done but otherwise was good. I would definitely return if I am in the area to get another cheesesteak but this time with tater tots.More

Went on a Saturday lunchtime and there was only one waitress and one bartender in the place. Waited at the door for a while before anyone noticed us and sat us. Took a while to have our order taken, understandably since there was only one...waitress on. There must have only been one cook too because it took over 25 minutes to get three sandwiches. They actually would have been good if they weren’t cold along with cold tater tots. The owner saving money on staffing lost them customers.More

Went there for the drag brunch, show was ok. Thought it was going to be more a comedy show. The ladies did some routines to music but I found the music to be too loud. Food was average nothing to brag about. Drinks were good...as well as the service. Great spot for drinks and hang out with friends.More

So, my friend, her nine year old daughter and I went in looking to eat before seeing The Nutcracker. The place was packed and they did seat us even though the place was reserved for a party. We sat down and received our menus and...water right away. That is when the Drag Queens came out and performed. No biggie, but the language used was not for a nine year old to hear, so we got up to leave. Otherwise, if it was just my friend and I we would have stayed. The menu looked delicious and was reasonably priced. Only 3 minutes from the Performing Arts Center.More

There are a few metered spots and a bunch of paid lots to park but once you arrive the atmosphere is wonderful. Large, open space, windows that open on beautiful days, black sheep is a large bar and can host a variety of gatherings. The...menu contains bar faire, our group tried a few different items. Everything came out perfectly and was good. Just good. Nothing overly amazing. Our drinks, however, were amazing. Beautifully blended and affordable. Great spot for an after work cocktailMore

Fun restaurant/bar on the corner of Westminster and Empire in downtown Providence. It’s got a great atmosphere, great food (especially burgers and other pub food, which come in generous portions) and great drinks. And it works just as well for happy hour as it does...for a night on the town.More

Went there once in person and ordered from a third party delivery service. Both times the food did not disappoint. Would certainly go back or order from there again.

I come here once, twice a week after class. I am a restaurant and beverage major and seeing how a restaurant runs is my passion. I often find myself in any establishment, trying to find what they are doing wrong. However, at the Black Sheep...its not easy to find anything wrong, the service my both Courtney and Monica is nothing shy of excellent. Personality and knowledge are not lacking, and they offer a bright and welcoming smile each and every time. Being a pub style menu, you would expect burnt, greasy, inedible food. The food however is Delectable, full of flavor, plenty of food to fill you for dinner or lunch. If you are ever in providence check this place out!More

We ended up at The Black Sheep after a competition at the Convention Center. It was late and we were a total of 21 people including 9 children. We had a fantastic experience at this place. It was after 8:45pm so I assumed the staff...was not thrilled to have such a big group show up. To our surprise the staff was excellent and very accommodating. We had dinner and most adults had drinks. With all the kids and large group I was impressed there were no mistakes in the orders. The staff was outstanding!!! Good food and great service, absolutely stop by if you can.More

There is a street level parking lot across the street from restaurant and if that is full there is street parking or other parking lots in the city within a five (5) minute walk.
