The US Air Force museum has quite a number of planes you cannot see anywhere else … most notably the very large XB-70 “Valkyrie” supersonic bomber and the B2 stealth bomber, their prize pieces. Not only US planes but also a lot of Russian planes such as Migs and Sukhoi’s. And a number of German WW2 planes. You need two full days to take it all in. Plenty of parking, toilets and a rather mediocre lunch cafeteria are available. Entrance is free! The best things in life are free.

There are many reasons to come here for a visit, but certainly you can't miss it when you are in the area. It is nicely perched on the water so you can make a nice walk before or after visiting. It does get busy so you do have to be prepared to manage some of the crowds. There is so much to see here and depending on how much reading (or listening) you want to do, then you could easily spend a half day or more here. When we went they had a great exhibition on celebrating 50 years of Rap which was very interesting. You really do need to make your reservation ahead of time and plan your day around the trip. You are bound to see all of your favorites as well as miss so much because there is just so much displayed. Overall, I would be back again in a bit after their next switch of exhibits.

Cleveland Museum of Art is an immersive artistic experience with astounding works on display. Their American collection has great works by Bohm, Cox, Wyeth, Wood and Hopper. There’s more with Sloan, Prendergast, Tarbell, Sargent and Chase. German works by Perchstein, Kirchner are solid but they have a fantastic work by Gabrielle Munter (titled Future). French works go beyond the standard Impressionism and have Bonnard, Vuillard and lesser-known masters on display. A giant Rousseau is great. 7 Picasso works hang in chronologic order, spanning more than 40 years and let you really see how the Spaniard evolved.

Madame Lerolle is featured in two paintings, both fantastic. I enjoyed the brightest Odilon Redon flower painting here. Not a typical fan of Georgian-era art, they have a Thomas Lawrence double portrait that is the most beautiful thing you’ll see. Older work by El Greco and Zubaran are large and excellent. Knowing lots of artists, I was still happy to find someone I’d not known before: Gitane Endormie who’s “Sleeping Gypsy” is among the loveliest painting they have.

I wish the gift shop had more postcards of all this art. I would have bought them all.

This is the best museum in the state (and they have some awesome ones with Cincinnati, Columbus, Dayton and Toledo).

We had so much fun and the weather was perfect we went the 22-23rd day one everything was walk on for the most part day 2 was really busy, we opted for fast passes and called it a early day to head home. The beach was absolutely amazing to a nice refresh after a hot day.

Go here!! What an awesome market. Everything is so fresh. Parking is cheap (seemed to be free in Sunday) and prices are reasonable. Go close to close and they will give you discounts!

This is a very nice zoo. Clean & it is well shaded for hot days. Nice you can bring in drinks & snacks to save money. There are a few water refill stations. Saved a little money doing tickets on-line when we got there. The Little Blue penguins were one of my favorites. We spent about 5-6 hours there.

Very nice trip, spaced out, lots of activities, and the animals look very well taken care of. The aquarium and reptiles exhibit was very clean and a great variety of all different animals and species from different countries.

This was so cool to see the house and hear the stories about the filming of The Christmas Story movie. Natasha, our tour guide was FANTASTIC! So glad I made a last minute decision to add this to my list of exploring in Cleveland. Highly recommend if you have seen the movie!

I don’t think that Great American gets enough credit for its unique qualities that really tie it to the city and region. From the smokestacks to the riverboat in center field, you know you are in Cincinnati when you enter this park. Even the light poles that tie it back to Crowley Field.

Beyond that though, the park is lacking. I had to walk forever to find a hot dog, which was flavorless. My seats this time were great, but this is the first time in approximately 10 visits that I liked the seats and I have been all over the park. They pushed the 50/50 raffle hard, but saw no other vendors during the 7 innings we stayed.

Pluses include, the sound system, which is very good and the location, which allows easy drop off by Lyft/Uber and has lots of restaurants in easy walking distance for after the game. The employees in both the food stand and souvenir shop were great. Though I did not visit this time, I’ve been to the Reds Hall of Fame and is very good. The minuses include the views from most of the seats, the poor food quality, and the general experience which is not as exciting as most ball parks I’ve been to. The race between the Mr. Reds is an obvious rip off of the Sausage Race in Milwaukee, the music choices and between inning games etc. seemed to fall flat.

The botanical gardens were beautiful! Right now they have some Chihuly pieces on loan from Seattle that they are incorporating into the botanical displays, it is definitely worth seeing. We had a great time!

Rainy day but still fun to shop. So many shops to see. Loved it! Our favorite was the Amazon style shop, such a cool concept.

A great way to spend a rainy day.

This place is gorgeous, easily one of the best state parks I’ve visited. My favorite hike was right near the Visitor center and started from Upper Falls (incredibly picturesque), meandered through a beautiful gorge and then went through Old Man’s Cave, ending at the Visitor center. Super easy, and only 0.75 miles. But in general, this is a good park for hikers that are looking for easy hikes with great scenery. In particular, two of the prettiest hikes here are partly wheelchair accessible: Ash Cave trail and Conkles Hollow Gorge trail.

The Visitor center had an info desk with a person (park ranger?) to answer questions, exhibits, water, a gift store, restrooms, and large wall maps for the more popular trails. Very well done, and on par with many of the national parks I’ve visited.
