Vietnam’s Dong Poised for Longest Losing Streak Since 2008

Vietnam’s dong declined for a 10th straight day, its longest losing streak in 14 years, after the central bank widened the currency’s daily trading band.
The dong weakened as much as 0.6% to set a record-low of 24,511 on Wednesday. The currency is set for the longest stretch of losses since June 2008.
