The beach that we paddled to was just beautiful with lots of shells and beautiful clear water! - Winter S1 contributionUpon our arrival in Kauai, my husband and I were disappointed to see many establishments being run by former "main landers". Because of this, we felt disconnected from the island until our kayak and hiking trip with Kai and his team. Not only did they take such care of our group, they generously shared their stories, which added great context to some of the history they provided about Kauai. Our guide, Mano, expertly navigated us along the river and through the trails with such ease that we were able to be present and take in all the beauty of the island. If you wish to have an authentically Hawaiian experience, please book with them. It's a family run business with strong roots to the island. Professionalism is a given. - David C1 contributionWow!!! What a fantastic experience! Enough good can’t be said about Steffan and this company. From the second we arrived we were greeting and offering drinks, bags for our phones and were given clear expectations on what the experience would be. Once our group was on the water, Steffan educated us on the history of the area, its development, wildlife, and environmental conservation efforts. He was friendly, funny, and most importantly passionate about the topic! - Brandy S1 contributionWe did the full day tour. Honestly the best day of the week. Very laidback and relaxed. Rose, Bryan and V Cash were all extremely knowledgeable and patient 😁. We saw stingray, barracuda, sharks…. My daughter and I did the kayaking while my son and husband chilled on the boat. Definitely something for everyone. - Paula8 contributions6 of our group (all 55 and up) joined Erickson for the kayak, secret waterfall guided tour on 5/22/24. What an amazing day! Erickson was so kind and knowledgeable of the flora and fauna that surrounded us on our adventure. He shared cultural history of the area as well as his love for this land.
It was a bit challenging crossing the rocky stream, but they had received a lot of rain in the past week so to be expected. I would recommend a walking stick for those crossings to help with balance. We had so much fun and really appreciated the entire experience.
