Gary Sinise chimes in with behind the scenes photos

Thanks Gary!! And for all your work for veterans!

I loved that 1994 series that lasted 4 days (was it 2 hours each night?), and The Stand is my favorite Stephen King book.

What a cast in that series that included a good share of Gen Jonsers including the re-emergence of Rob Lowe

The opening is the first thing I think of when I hear Don't Fear the Reaper.

Great mini-series, great soundtrack, great cast, and an unexpected Kareem Abdul-Jabari cameo! Two thumbs up from this 80’s kid.

Yes, blew my mind when Kareem was on there

TIL . .

I'd only remembered him in Airplane! before.

W.G. Snuffy Walden's soundtrack was first rate.

Yes, I was tempted to link "Don't Fear the Reaper" with the movie but I'm so burned out on that song and I like "Don't Dream it's Over" more anyways. I do like me some BOC though.

Ha! I forgot Mia Gallo - "Just Shoot Me" was in this. I don't think I watched it all, the book was beyond compare and no movie could be decent.

Yes Laura San Giacomo.......a fellow Gen Jonser

Nothing can compare to the book, it's probably King's Magnum Opus.

I wasn’t a regular reader of Stephen King, but I grabbed the “complete & uncut edition” to read as a passenger while my friend drove us to Death Valley & really enjoyed it.

Loved the book, loved the miniseries.

“Do it Harold! DO IT!”

Fucking Harold did it!

Good grief this makes me feel old. Adore the book and loved the show.
