- Brandi L1 contributionBeautiful, fun day at the farm! They have a wide variety of animals and amazing customer service. Alexis was the best guide for us! The grounds are very well kept and the structures are beautifully built and designed. Impeccable! My girls absolutely loved the playground too. We will definitely go back!Written 18 March 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Kathy EPortage, MI2,246 contributionsOur cousin who lives here took us here. We had to get a military check-in, show drivers license, SS#, and photograph. It's a distance back from the gate in the back of the base. If you love tank's this is the place for you! There are so many to see, and each one tells you what it is. Inside, they have different displays of military history. Very interesting place to visit.Written 29 September 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Teena KHattiesburg, MS2 contributionsThis scenic trail offers a picturesque journey through the natural beauty of Mississippi, with shaded pathways and captivating views of the countryside. It's also a place where nice events take place. I attended few of them.Written 3 October 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - harryh409Crestview, FL372 contributionsThis has to be one of the finest small zoos we have visited. The park is very clean and well maintained. The employees are friendly and helpful with any questions that you may have. Sadly their tiger passed away a couple of months ago but there are a lot of well cared for animals to observe. We highly recommend this zoo to anyone to visit.Written 7 July 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Klamath87Kennewick, WA65 contributionsOn a cross country Rv trip, we ran out of things to do in Laurel, so drove to Hattiesburg for the day. This museum is so well cared for and organized. It was the USO for the African American Troops stationed at the military base during WWII. Excellent, personalized, historical information presented in a way that all our children should learn about. They are planning on expanding the area adjacent to the museum into a campus with additional displays and buildings. And we are very hopeful they will be successful.Written 3 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RaqVenturesSacramento, CA216 contributionsPopped in with the bf on a road trip because we had heard Southern Prohibition was THE brewery in Mississippi to try. We did a flight to sample 4 beers and the bartender was wonderful at helping us pick a good set. The Purple Fluff was such an interesting beer that we got some to go! The pizza was also delicious, fresh, and fire roasted. All in all, a great stop!Written 4 July 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Fred and Susan MHollywood, FL159 contributionsSituated in an alley near City Hall, this new Museum of miniatures (and I do mean miniature) opened in 2020. It has placed dozens of tiny figures as small as half an inch high that sit on pipes, electrical meters, window sills, fire escapes . . . everywhere you can imagine from the ground up. A list posts what’s around and encourages you to search. For example, there were 11 cats . . . some tiny, some full size, some just painted on the wall. I did three passes before finding them all.
The alley walls and ground were painted as well, some with optical illusions. Great for young children as well as adults. They made for fun photo ops.
We spoke with the curator who explained that things are changed roughly every six months and that a full year goes into planning and preparation. She was outside adding two tiny paintings to a box that was labeled “help yourself - take something or add something.” It was a miniature room filled with pictures, furniture and figures.
This was a delightful break from the serious touring we’ve done until now. All day the sun shone bright and cheery despite the cold air, and the alley was filled with light. I was very glad we found the Pocket Museum, which, by the way, does not publish their location. Part of the charm is finding it.Written 20 May 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - itravel13Sugar Land, TX86 contributionsWe started our travels in Houston and had decided Hattiesburg was a good stopping point the first day. We were very happy to find this state park when we searched online for a camping area. It is located in a lovely area not far from Hattiesburg. Staff were very helpful over the phone and the camping area was clean, safe, and well-maintained. The lake is as pretty as pictured.Written 24 March 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- FalseCastHattiesburg, MS262 contributionsWent to see a local presentation of OLIVER last night. More about this later. This was my first time in the Sanger and not overly impressed at first. I was expecting more grand theater like Atlanta's Fox. Overall nice theater that has been updated. Comfortable seating ample lobby tight on restrooms. My biggest issue was the acoustics but it might have been the sound board operator. We made some suggestions to the mixer and moved to the balcony between acts. Seemed to be slightly better. They are playing the last 2 episodes of GoT and I would go but I'm going out of town. OVERALL: I'd like to go back to hear some music or see a movie before I'd revise my score.Written 11 May 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
