- User264339Camp Hill, PA51 contributionsA “Hog Lover’s” fantasy—see how HD motorcycles evolved from paper sketches to a shack-built workspace to the iconic brand they own today.
US military partnership is highlighted throughout a well done exhibit. Get some pics sitting on several models in the HD experience on the lower level. Well worth a couple hours exploration.Written 15 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We remembered that the sunburst colors of the Chihuly wasn't in the main lobby. We asked someone who works in the gift store and she told us where to find it (it's near the east entrance). The gift store has some fascinating artsy stuff.Written 17 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- russianwulfgarMilwaukee, WI1,584 contributionsWe specifically went because they offer a Vegan Fish Fry! The vegan coleslaw and vegan tartar sauce were terrific, the hand-made fish fry not so much. I don't want to give them a knock because they are doing a wonderful thing by even offering a vegan fish fry - most places don't have the guts to do so. The batter was tasty, but the interior texture needs work. It was a bit mushy and stringy. Flavor - FINE! Texture needs improvement, which I'm sure they can do and will do. I will keep coming back for the Vegan Fish Fry and tell all my vegan compadres to do the same. And the Beersicle beer was delicious!Written 2 June 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Sprandel5Homer, IL161 contributionsVisited during a team work meeting. 11 of us went and had a great time. Very accessible to get around in. The food choices were nice and within a usual cost for a ball park. Really appreciated the ride share section where folks helped direct us to our Uber. Would be happy to come back to this park if in the area.Written 29 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Denis S5 contributionsWell worth the trip & the money. A beautiful old building in amazing condition for its age (137 years). The docents are friendly & very knowledgeable; a really docent group.Written 19 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jill EEasley, SC371 contributionsWe thoroughly enjoyed the audio tour of this incredibly beautiful Basilica, so rich in history. The ornate interior of this Basilica rivals many of the cathedrals we saw in Europe - really - it’s that breathtaking. The audio tour gives so much more information than just the pamphlet tour. It even includes music! This might be my favorite experience in Milwaukee. The stained glass windows alone are worth seeing. Best $5 and 45 minutes you’ll spend in the area.Written 2 April 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Alan BKendall Park, NJ1,453 contributionsI came here for lunch and a tasting with friends. The bartenders were very friendly and helpful explaining the different whiskeys. It’s a very fun atmosphere and the whiskeys are very good. We had lunch there as well from the Fox Den, the food is a separate company from the bar. Lunch was very good, fresh ingredients and creative options.Written 4 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Susan TMount Pleasant, WI599 contributionsWe were along the lakefront and decided to visit the public market which was recently ranked #1 in the country and we easily understood why. Anything you can think of is here at the public market. We found glutenfree cookies!Written 17 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kelly H.Madison, WI71 contributionsI took my two 7 year olds here on a field trip with our homeschool co-op. It was very crowded, but having the opportunity to do a guided tour specific to their age group was great. My kids spent hours afterwards walking through and looking at all the exhibits. There’s so much to see that we’ll have to come back some other time to take it all in!
My only complaint is that the reserved lunchtime that goes along with the field trip program felt very rushed and chaotic. My kids both have some developmental differences that cause them to need a longer time to eat. It was frustrating to have to rush them through lunch, and because we needed the full 20 minutes to eat, we ended up missing a show we had tickets to because we also had to go to the bathroom and then walk quite a distance from that area to the theater. Next time we plan to go on our own so that we don’t have to work with the constraints of large group schedules.Written 20 May 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Betty2,889 contributionsWe enjoy visiting this zoo. The indoor and outdoor enclosures are well maintained and the animals are well taken care of. There is a good variety of animals and you can see many active in their enclosures. The zoo is constantly upgrading and making improvements. - Jason RosenauWestlock, Canada731 contributionsA great thing to do while in Milwaukee. A guided tour about the history of Miller Brewing and the current production facility. And of course: samples. Also a great gift shop.Written 9 December 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
