Brighton High School Reviews
Rating 4.03 out of 5 295 reviews
Brighton High School was a very diversified experience. I met people from all backgrounds and enjoyed the inclusivity built within. The only thing I wish was different was the school’s participation in college prep. Other than that this school was an amazing experience.
The transition from the middle school (TCMS) to high school can be a bit disorienting, but the teachers are generally pretty nice. You'll learn quickly from peers which teachers are great, and which you should hope to steer clear of. The teachers are readily available during flex for extra help with schoolwork, and it's a great way to get connected with clubs, too. The food is suboptimal, except for a couple foods which are great - but produce long lines. The school counselors are all really helpful, and really nice. Talking with them is easy, and always supportive. Make sure you keep at least one open period in your schedule to help you get caught up during times of high workload.
Very college ready and academically prepared. Very community involved. Often concern to win awards and maintain school reputation was put ahead of student and family needs.
