Not sure what to say?

I first heard Margaret as a recitalist when I was a teenager attending a National AGO Convention. We spoke about it many years later, and she recalled every detail of this Harvard performance. Our paths crossed again when she and John crossed paths at one of her star pupils recitals recitals, the late Harry Huff at Saint Thomas Church in Roanoke. Oberlin was where Calvin Hampton studied, he and Harry were a great team in my Juillard years. I later played where Margaret did on the Bush...

Margaret was my accompanist at St. Paul's one Sunday and I was singing a piece that had a jazzy inner part in it. At our first rehearsal, we sang through it and then I said, "Margaret, we need to rock out in this section." Margaret giggled and we did, indeed, rock out. I was honored to be able to perform with her.

I grew up at St Paul's church and Margaret Mueller is a big part of those memories. My mother and father loved her music! I was so honored that she played at my wedding! Lisa, I am so sorry for your loss!

Angela and I loved every moment we were with Margaret. Her huge smile every time she saw us made us feel so special. She was remarkable in every thing she did. I will always hear her beautiful organ playing. Rest in peace dear Margaret

Sam and I both remember Margaret and John from our years in Winston Salem and being involved in music there. They were always positive and enthusiastic about every thing. I am not sure our generation has characters like them. We appreciate what they did for music in Winston Salem. Martha and Sam Stowe

Memories of Margaret are of joy, smiles, laughter, enthusiasm and generosity, as she and John shared their home with many musicians over the years. I can still hear her say, "FRANKIE," whenever we would meet. Her light will remain with me for the rest of my life. Rest in peace, dear Margaret.

So glad I got to spend some time with Ms. Mueller in February. What a wonderful afternoon!
