IMMERSIVE VAN GOGH DESCRIPTION

Experience the beauty of one of the most influential artists in history in a brand new way with Immersive Van Gogh. This stunning projection show transports visitors directly into Vincent Van Gogh's most iconic paintings. From his bright, hopeful paintings like Sunflowers to his dreamy, chaotic magnum opus Starry Night, Immersive Van Gogh allows audiences an up-close look at every unbelievable brush stroke.

His work explores, in overwhelming emotional detail, a lifetime of love, loss, mental illness, and recovery. His neverending examination of his own life created a gallery of masterpieces that have made Van Gogh one of the most popular and beloved artists of all time.

Immersive Van Gogh allows us to enter into the work of this iconic artist through the use of a beautiful soundtrack and modern technology brought to life through the mind of Massimiliano Siccardi, who first brought the exhibit to life in France, and the Las Vegas Creative Director David Korins, the set designer of the hit Broadway musical Hamilton.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Van Gogh Experience We’re in a big room with insanely loud music with the man’s paintings blown up on the walls. Excerpts from the paintings are sometimes animated. You are immersed. The show is not interactive. I wish they would show the entire painting before or after it is dissected on the wall. Some history of Van Gogh’s life and how it affected his art would be helpful. Totally surprised that entire show lasted only 34 minutes. I would recommend, especially if you like art. However, it is not a repeatable venue.

I like almost everything about the art exhibit other than the seating situation which wasn’t very comfortable at all. I noticed that some participants stopped using the hard bench seats and opted for the carpeted floor instead. In hindsight I’m thinking I should’ve followed suit. It probably would’ve made for a much more comfortable experience. The show was quite good and I would think that anyone who likes art even if just a little bit could appreciate it. I thought the tickets were a little on the pricey side for what it is but seeing that the show is at the crystals shops I’m really not all that surprised. I would give the show 3 out of 5 stars.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Van Gogh Video Collage The video display of Van Gogh’s work set to music was enjoyable - just over 30 min. The benches don’t have a back rest so I chose to sit on the floor to lean against a post. The rental cushions made it a bit more comfortable. It would have been even better if they rented stadium seats (with back rests). I wished there was some education onsite about Van Gogh like I had seen at other similar events. I think there was some online educational material you could look at before or after but takes a bit more planning / effort. Overall it was a good experience and something to consider to fill some time, I wouldn’t plan my afternoon around it however.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good experience The show was in a huge room, with surround sound, Van Gogh's arts were projected on the walls, the room was dark and quiet, and you were allowed to take photos and videos. The arts always flow, move and transfer to the next one, I've been to the Louvre and Van Gogh Museum Amsterdam before but you get tired and bored after a couple of hours, the real arts are small and always full of tourists, you have to continue to tour it because you paid full ticket in a foreign country so you don't want to waste your money. I like the immersive show more, it is only about 30 minutes and you can stay as long as you can, with the huge screen & sound, the vivid color, immersive is easier for regular people to understand Van Gogh's abstract ideas, the fewer people and the space gives you a stronger feel of his feeling, his passion, his anger, sad or joy, if I went by myself, I would stay much longer time. I paid $90 for 3 and I enjoyed this show very much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No refound, no nothing I am extremely dissatisfied with my experience at LighHouse Immersive and the Van Gogh Experience. To begin with, we arrived some minutes late for the show and we asked them if there was the the availability of joining another experience that was about to commence at the same time, but the staff did not offer us the opportunity to switch. This lack of flexibility was frustrating and showed a lack of consideration for the attendees. Additionally, what aggravated the situation further was the refusal to issue any form of refund or even a partial reimbursement!! Considering the tickets cost a hefty $90 dollars, this lack of willingness to accommodate our situation was highly disappointing. Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied with LighHouse Immersive and the Van Gogh Experience. The absence of rescheduling options, and refusal to provide any form of refund left me feeling extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with the entire experience.
