It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Kathleen Staton of Jacksonville, Illinois, who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Jordon Tolar and Obelia Cook Tolar; and her former life partner Charles W. Staton. She is survived by : her children, Tina Troyer (late Kim) of Jacksonville and Chuck Staton (Barb) of Midland City, AL; her grandchildren, Chad Moore, Megan Moore, Linsay Gordon (Chris), Sara Turley (Tom), Dan McKnight and Tiffani Clardy; her great grandchildren, Gracie, Grant, Presley, Patrick, Parker Monica and Brian; her sisters, Carolyn "Cutty" Martin and Ophelia "Opi" Rogers; her sister-in-law Betty Beal; and her husband Bill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Daws Family Funeral Home - Jacksonville (508 W Vandalia Rd, Jacksonville, IL 62650).
