Russ - Tired

Copied!edit Lyrics
verse
Tired of dealin' with shit i don't wanna deal with, i'm tired of dealin' with me
Tired that i'm makin' all of this money and feelin' like none of this comin' to me
Tired of feelin' confused and not knowin' which way that i'm supposed to be goin' in life
Tired of lookin' around and see everyone else and it seems that they doin' it right
Tired of runnin' a mile a minute inside of my head, i'm just tryna slow down
Tired of knowin' what i should be doin', but doin' the opposite, fuckin' around
Tired of people just sayin', "whatever" about me, thinkin' i'm lettin' it slide
Tired of havin' to be this new version of me, was at peace, when you pussy gon' die?
Tired of not regulatin' my anger, sayin' some shit that i wanna take back
Tired of havin' to say that i'm sorry, but never be gettin' apologies back
Tired of hearin' 'bout slidin' on opps, and poppin' the perkys, it's gotta be more
Tired of feelin' like everything that i've been hearin' is worse than the music before
Tired of people blurrin' shit out on the internet not knowin', they jsut assumin'
Tired of people who failed at what they wanna do, tryna tell me what i should be doin'
Tired of bein' at war with the man in the mirror, i'm tired of beatin' him up
Tired of feelin' like my only peace is when i got a model that's eatin' me up
Tired of workin' and workin' and workin', it's feelin' like i always gotta be on
Tired of talkin' 'bout mom with my dad, and i'm tired of talkin' 'bout dad with my mom
Tired of feelin' like the only shit that i haven't done is win a grammy and die
Tired of tellin' this woman i'm done with her, but she keep tryna pop up in my life
Tired of strugglin' bein' myself around people i care, that shit is annoyin'
Tired of feelin' so guilty if i wanna take a sabbatical for my enjoyment
Tired of feelin' like i gotta struggle or else i'm not worthy of any success
Tired of feelin' like that to the point that i give myself work, i'm addicted to stress
Tired of feelin' like what is the point when i already won, yeah, i already did it
Tired of not knowin' how to hang out with my friends if i'm not makin' music or drinkin'
Tired of people who don't know a thing 'bout my come up, just lyin' and makin' shit up
Tired of havin' to deal with these industry people when i know they all fake as fuck
Tired of companies runnin' monopoly's, lyin' and cheatin' and riggin' the game
Tired of battlin' artists who fakin' their streams, i'm so tired, i might do the same
Tired of self improvin' bein' corny but self destruction gets a round of applause
Tired of people who say, "put the guns down" but celebrate murder in all their songs
Tired of wakin' up to someone fuckin' up, every day, i gotta clean up a mess
Tired of feelin' like i can't relax in an interview, i got a puff on my chest
Tired of bein' afraid that i'm gonna lose everything, tired of bein' on edge
Tired of takin' responsibility for people's emotions, i said what i said, i'm tired
See russ liveget tickets as low as $46 outro
Psss
It's not the emotions that i'm tired of to be honest but
I'm tired of doin' this song so, fuck it

Russell Vitale, known professionally as Russ, is a rapper hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, but originally from New Jersey. His love for rap music started at a young age, with Russ writing his first raps in a notebook at just 7 years old. By 14, he was already making beats and producing music for his friend Bugus, who aspired to become a rapper. However, Russ soon realized that he wanted to pursue a career as a rapper himself.

Between 2011 and 2014, Russ released a total of 11 mixtapes, but they received minimal attention. Undeterred, Russ decided to focus on building his audience before releasing his debut album. This led to the release of 96 consecutive weekly singles on his SoundCloud page. Among these singles were hits like "What They Want" and "Losin Control," both of which achieved 2x Platinum certification from the RIAA.

On May 5, 2017, Russ finally released his debut album, There's Really A Wolf, which featured 7 singles that received Gold certification or higher. The album itself was certified Platinum within a year of its release. A year later, Russ dropped his sophomore project ZOO on September 7, 2018, collaborating with external producers and featured artists for the first time. In January 2020, he released his highly anticipated album SHAKE THE SNOW GLOBE, where he delves into themes of love, dealing with haters, and his own success.

Russ is known for being a true independent artist, as he is heavily involved in every aspect of his music production. He not only produces, mixes, and masters his tracks but also writes and records them himself. In 2020, Russ made the bold decision to part ways with Columbia Records and fully embrace his independence, a move he proudly announced on Instagram.

With a unique blend of storytelling, introspection, and charisma, Russ has carved out a niche for himself in the rap scene. His dedication to his craft and refusal to conform to industry norms have garnered him a dedicated fanbase and critical acclaim, solidifying his status as one of the most exciting artists in hip-hop today.
