ABS-CBN celebrities brought the heat, showcasing their transformed physiques at the Star Magic Hot Summer 2024 bash on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
Marking its second year, the event held this year's edition at the scenic La Luz Beach Resort in collaboration with the Municipality and Tourism Office of San Juan, Batangas.
For their impressive body transformations, Anji Salvacion and Kobie Brown were celebrated as the "Fan Favorite Hotties" of the party after securing the highest online votes during the event.
ANJIE SALVACION, KOBIE BROWN: SUMMER HOTTIES
Prior to the announcement or winners, Anji and Kobie shared their fitness journeys.
Kobie expressed gratitude to the people who supported his goal: "Grabe po, parang hindi totoo po.
"Kasi ano, it's been three months we've been doing this training and this is what we've really been preparing for.
"So it feels unreal to be here with these guys.
"Kasi alam ko how hard all our trainings were to get to this point. So yeah, sobrang excited ako."
For her part, Anji also thanked her hardworking colleagues and mentioned how her transformation boosted her confidence.
"Unang-una sa lahat, aside sa kaba, I am grateful for being here. For being with, you know, the people that I work really hard with. Nag-work out talaga kami.
"This journey is such a very, very, very important journey for me.
"Kasi it built up my self-confidence and, you know, it made me who I am today. And I am so grateful for that."
Hopefully, she can inspire others to improve themselves.
She continued, "Yung fulfillment na nararamdaman ko, parang gusto ko pang magawa pa ng more [people].
"And to help, you know, to help other people to improve their selves then. That's the fulfillment that I wanted to build up din.
"And that's the fulfillment that I'm feeling right now.
"Naisip ko na parang gusto ko rin na, alam mo, makatulong din sa iba and be an inspiration to others."
This year's line-up featured Dalia Varde, Gabb Skribikin, Thamara Alexandria, Maxine Trinidad, Zach Guerrero, Lance Carr, Rob Blackburn, Reiven Umali, Shanaia Gomez, CJ Navato, Kaori Oinuma, Aljon Mendoza, Joao Constancia, Jameson Blake, and JM de Guzman.
Jai Ho and Aya Fernandez hosted the event, with Chie Filomeno, Jake Cuenca, and Barbie Imperial serving as Hot Summer Ambassadors.
