The screenplay centers on characters Brendan Young and Darryl Jennings who take a trip to the Lake Arrowhead with a group of college friends to celebrate Young's girlfriend's birthday. One-by-one the coeds begin disappearing until a mysterious young visitor arrives and helps them begin to unravel their tangled web of terror.

A typical slasher/cabin in the woods horror. One by one, party-goers are picked off, leaving a dwindling group to solve the mystery. A pretty cookie-cutter plot, even for the time, but with some decent gore. Had me cringing at a few points (always gets me when someone's being scalped while they're conscious & screaming). It was also nice seeing this type of film through the eyes of a predominantly black cast. Worth seeing at least for that if nothing else.
I just rewatched for the first time in years and ong this made me feel so nostalgic. I used to love this movie when I was a preteen!
“We lost our friends and we need your help finding them.”

People easily forget thier keys in this and no one makes sure when you take someone down to make sure thy are down for good. I also saw after typing the title of this that they made a sequel.... unfortunately.
It’s nice to see a horror film led by a diverse cast like this black ensemble. It’s a fun slasher that is better than sequel but both fun.
It was like an extended Goosebumps episode but less convincing. It's very bland and Marques and Omarion were decent. It just didn't need to end with a cliffhanger of how the evil surgeon escaped and who the spooky little girl was.
It's bad but good enough to not being annoyed by it.
B2K was popular when I was going through puberty. I also love when incredible practical effects pop up in a mediocre-at-best movie. These two things in mind, it feels wild that I was unaware of this movie until now but that’s the ✨magic of Tubi✨, the gift that keeps on giving.

Somewhat engaging plot complemented with possible torture scenarios. It’s too dull to be suspenseful, but the plot gets thick sometimes.
