I am finishing my 4th semester at Fayetteville Technical Community College. My first two semesters, I got three A's and one B. Last semester I finally got that fourth A for a perfect 4.0 GPA. This semester, it looks like I will again get all A's. I have loved my time at FTCC! I am 47 years old so I am surrounded by young people, but I have the optimism of a youngster because I have finally figured out what career I want! I have met many great students, but more importantly, teachers that seem to really care about the success of their students and passion for teaching. This coming fall semester, I will be finishing my Information Technology/PC Support & Services program!
Overall, I'm very pleased with my educational experience at FTCC. The whole process from applying to the college to registering for courses is very straight-forward. If you ever need any assistance, there are many different ways to get in touch with someone who can assist you. I am working towards applying for the ADN program at the college and I am impressed with the program so far. The college offers a Prospective Nurse Informational Session, which is very helpful for future nurses who wish to pursue their degree at FTCC. Recently, the nursing education center got a total makeover with all new equipment and supplies, and it makes me feel confident in my future at the school!
I have completed my first year at Fayetteville Tech Community College and so far I have enjoyed everything about it. The school itself is very diverse, the teachers here have been amazing, they encourage their students to stick it through. Personally the courses I’ve taken has been challenging but I have learned by applying yourself and starting up study groups, you set yourself up for success. Thanks to the many locations on campus where they have study rooms and all the equipment needed, it has made studying very easy for groups to get together. I also like that the school offers many different clubs you can join, this brings students together outside of the academic level. During my time here so far I have joined the Christian Club, and might take a look at other clubs as well.
At Fayetteville Technical Community College safety is never an issue, they have security and police presence often in parking lots, inside the buildings and patrolling all streets of the campus.
