ボビー・ブラウンのベストアルバムです。既にGreatest Hitsも出ていますが、
「Definitive Collectionはルイ･アームストロング、サミー･デイビスJrも出ています」と書いてあることから察するに、
ベスト盤シリーズのひとつとして位置づけられたアルバムのようです。
年代順に並んでいるので、最初のほうの曲は８０年代で、ボビー･ブラウンがまだ１０代の頃の曲も。
とにかく声にまだ子供っぽさが残っていて、まるでティーンアイドルのようで新鮮です。
バックストリート・ボーイズのニックのような声もします。
曲は、ブリトニーもカバーした「My Prerogative」や９０年代初頭に流行った「Humpin'　Around」のようなダンスチューンだけでなく、
意外としっとり聴かせるスムースなもの多く、恋人と親密に過ごすような雰囲気のR&Bが入っています。
所謂「美メロ」で知られるベビーフェイスもいくつかの曲づくりに参加していて、メロディもきれいです。
後半は日本のラジオでもしょっちゅうかかっていたお馴染みのヒット曲（アップテンポ多し）がずらり。懐かしいです。
最後には、数年前は飛ぶ鳥を落とす勢いだったマーダー・インクと絡んだヒップホップ寄りの曲を収録しています。
