Roosevelt High School Reviews
Rating 3.4 out of 5 159 reviews
I really like roosevelt high school, i've been going to roosevelt district since 6th grade and there's really nothing bad i can say about it. It has a great school policy and uniform policy. The school is very proper with high security for extra safety measures. I feel as if the safety measures are a great way for students to feel safe on campus, with metal detector bars, and one way drive thrus
The best part of the school was the teachers. The worst part was the funding. My band teacher and my coach are the ones that stand out the most for me as they helped me pursue my passion for music and wrestling. The funding was not much when it came to these two programs so we lacked in many areas when it came to being unable to do something due to no money.
While there are better alternatives Roosevelt High School still serves to be a good alternative to high end High Schools. The teachers throughout the years were friendly and dedicated to the students who wanted to learn, Most made topics I found difficult extremely easy. Academically the It was average wasn't too easy but wasn't too challenging either, The school offered some AP cources but many are seen through an online Portal. Diversity Is mostly made of Latin and African American students. The school doesn't do the best job of readying their students for college. There are a few clubs inclduing (Arts, Robotics, Writing). Food was average having limited options. The school doesn't offer a STEM program to my knowledge though i could be wrong, Administration as of 2022 is slightly morestrict than before. Its music programs are really nice, I would definetly recommend their music programs. The school was pretty average in general with some pros.
