Edward Nixon

Edward Nixon is the principal of EN Consulting Group, Inc. a Toronto-based boutique public outreach, marketing and strategic planning consultancy. Current and past clients include GO Transit, Castlepoint Realty Partners, Cityzen Development Group, the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts, St. Lawrence Market Complex, and the Old Town Toronto Promotional Alliance.

Edward Nixon, brings over twenty-five years of community engagement, research, marketing, urban public and government relations experience to bear on client projects. His background spans arts administration, grassroots political and community organizing, marketing research, communications, event organizing, and facilitation.

In addition to running his business, Edward is a poet and writer, with four poetry chapbooks published since 2006.

Edward also hosts and produces the monthly reading series livewords.

Engaged in his local community in the St. Lawrence Market area of Toronto, Edward is Chair of the Southeast Downtown Network Alliance, a community round-table bringing together arts, community, business, and NGOs in St. Lawrence Market, The Distillery District, Corktown and Regent Park.
