OK, first of all, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite, so it was pretty awesome from our perspective. However, even if we weren't upgraded, this hotel still would have got 5 stars. Our Junior Suite was huge and beautiful. Nice big bed, massive luxurious bathroom and nice furnishings. The hotel itself was beautiful and had a nice library area that was good to hang out in with a drink. The location was good. Pretty close to the city centre, but there were also nice shops/walks/restaurants/historic buildings near by to keep you occupied. The staff were nice too which was good and the drink proces were reasonable. Definitely will stay here again

Stayed 4 nights and can't fault the hotel at all. We arrived late at night and reception booked us in quickly with no hassle. In the morning they explained the tram system to us and we even bought our 3 day travel passes from them which saved the hassle of finding and using ticket machines. The tram and metro system is fantastic by the way and the stops are literally seconds from the hotel. The hotel is impressive to look at outside and inside, smart and clean and well decorated. Loved the room with comfortable bed although the pillows were different from what we are accustomed to. Aircon worked fine but was a bit noisy to leave on at night but the temperature in the room was always suitable. Large spacious walk in shower with 2 different shower heads in it and a bath as well,…

Pro's : Tram is across the street. Staff at the reception is friendly and efficiënt. Con's: Airconditioning is poor to non-existant in the bedroom, needles to say we did not sleep for several nights. The "safe" is not attached to the wall/closet/or anything else, you can pick it up (or anyone else, and leave with it) Housekeeping didn't clean our room properly in three day's , they left our dirty coffee cups and glasses standing around, so i'm not sure how clean the bathroom was , it looked fine optical.

Great hotel, spacious rooms, well presented lobby, breakfast room and lounge areas, clean and tidy. The private spa was amazing, very clean and big (worth it after a busy day sightseeing). The Thai massage place next door was also good. Jan was an amazing member of staff, very helpful and professional, as we're the rest that I met-well done team !
