- Sheena D15 contributionsMy husband and I visited the Opry on a Friday night and really enjoyed the experience. The facility was very clean, and the staff was friendly. Great visit!Written May 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Leslie EPenticton, Canada1 contributionWe went because someone else loves moonshine so we wanted a souvenir but WOW, we walked out as converts with 8+ bottles between us! Pat, our Tasting Master (or host), was amazing - he was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! 10/10 am already planning a trip back before we leave Nashville! Thanks Pat!Written June 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Patois2013Arlington21 contributionsWe had heard about the Ryman and vowed we would go one day to see a show (we did not do a tour). Fantastic sound and site lines and not a bad seat in the house. You're sitting in church pews, so don't expect to be super comfortable, but we were prepared for that.Written May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jacqueline TNew York City, NY3 contributionsPleasure. Enjoyed it very much even with 11 and under children. Tour was informative. I think they should allow children to learn about the jubilee and slave waiters though.Written April 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Travelling AndyHarvey, Canada218 contributionsVisited Studio B – was a very informative tour but to sit in the Studio where so many famous singers sat and created #1 hits – it was indescribable. A tour guide was very animated which was very welcomed.Written April 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Momof3Lyns42 contributionsCharming oasis in the middle of the hotel. I could sit there for hours just relaxing and enjoying the scenery. Best of all it’s free lots of nice restaurants around to grab a bite while you’re there.Written May 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Matt MGainesville, VA58 contributionsI am a big Cash fan, so this is a bit biased. I loved it! I thought I knew a lot about Johnny Cash, but this museum built on the things I knew and exposed me to so much interesting history and things I didn't know. The biggest surprise is that my wife really enjoyed it. She is not a fan and knew nothing going in. Turned out to be one of the top attractions we visited for her. I would suggest that you give yourself plenty of time to soak it in and to study the artifacts they have on display. We were on a schedule, and that took away from it some. I would have liked to spent a little longer. If you're a fan, it's a no-brainer. If you're just curious, I would definitely recommend this. You will appreciate all the interesting stuff.Written June 2, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- HollyKG1231Nederland, TX43 contributionsWow, we absolutely LOVED our visit to the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum. It was like getting a behind the scenes tour of the music industry. Well thought out presentation, incredible information and SO many one of a kind items in this museum collection. We would highly recommend visiting!Written February 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Al is TravelingKansas City, MO127 contributionsI love small cars. I love European cars. I like "weird" cars. This was a slice of heaven for me. There is a nice, make that, very nice selection of all of the above. I saw cars that I only read about. The displays allow you to get up close and really examine and admire the cars/motorcycles plus a few airplanes! The place was fairly busy but you weren't stepping over other people. A nice size building allowing for space around the vehicles and nice wide aisles for you to walk down. Someone really thought about the layout to allow you to photograph with little problems.
If you're like me and have a thing for the odd/unusual motorized vehicles, take a few hours and walk around in here. You'll be surprised what you'll see!Written May 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Although the estate originally consisted of 180 acres, the mansion is all that remains of it. That said, it was my favorite of the 3 mansions that we toured in Nashville. We loved the tour!
In 1849, after the death of her husband, the infamous slave trader Isaac Franklin who bequeathed his slave-trading fortune to her, the extremely wealthy widow Adelicia (Hayes) Franklin married Joseph Alexander Smith Acklen, a young attorney from Alabama. They built Belmont Mansion, also known as Acklen Hall, and originally known as Belle Monte, Belle Mont or Belmont to serve as the center of their summer estate in what was then country outside the city, and featured elaborate gardens and a zoo. It was completed by 1853 as an Italian villa-style summer home. They lived the rest of the year on one of her seven Louisiana cotton slave plantations, which totaled 8,600 acres.
Today the mansion is owned by the Belmont Mansion Association and Belmont University and is operated and preserved by the Belmont Mansion Association. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.
Parking was free but vehicles had to be registered. I did this online the evening before but one could also do so at the door. You will need to know your license plate number.Written April 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I've seen both and can tell you it is an impressive sight. We did not go in, just looked from afar and enjoyed the view in this lovely urban park.Written June 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
