We are delighted to announce that goalkeeper Tom McGill has signed a new two-year contract with the club with the option for a further year.
Head coach Roberto De Zerbi said, “I’m very happy for Tom. He is a good player and good guy.”
The 23-year-old joined the club when he was 14 and progressed through the Academy before moving into the under-23s’ squad in 2018.
Tom had loan spells with Greenwich Borough, Basingstoke Town and Crawley Town – for whom he made his professional debut – and since returning to the club he has played regularly in Premier League 2.
He has been a regular member of our Premier League squad in the second half of the season, working with goalkeeping coaches Ricard Seggara and Jack Stern.
In March, Ontario-born Tom was called up by Canada for the first time for two CONCACAF Nations League qualifiers.
